About BrandWise

Everyone talks about social media risk. Almost no one teaches the skill.

BrandWise exists to close that gap — with one certification that works the same way whether you’re 12 or 42.

Mission

A reputation that opens doors.

BrandWise gives people of every age, and organizations of every size, the social media literacy, safety awareness, and personal-branding skills to build a reputation that opens doors.

Our Social Media Literacy & Wellness Certification turns responsible online behavior into a lifelong, measurable skill — not a one-time warning kids forget by lunchtime, or a policy employees sign once and never think about again.

Our approach

Empowerment-first. Never fear-based.

Most digital-safety content is built to scare people off social media. BrandWise is built to prepare them for it — the same platforms, used with real judgment instead of fear. We explain the why. We don’t lecture.

What we teach

Three pillars. Every certification.

Social Media Literacy

Reading platforms critically, understanding algorithms, and using them with intention.

Digital Reputation

Managing privacy, safety, and the permanent record every post leaves behind.

Personal Branding

Turning a consistent online presence into a real advantage — for school, work, or business.

Built on nearly a decade of experience

BrandWise brings together nearly 10 years of experience in social media literacy, digital reputation, personal branding, and digital wellness education to create practical, age-appropriate learning for today’s students, families, and organizations.

BrandWise was developed by an experienced team of entrepreneurs, educators, marketers, and digital reputation professionals. The team behind the curriculum has earned entrepreneurship and startup honors, and has contributed to the national conversation through speaking engagements, podcasts, television, and other media.

The 2026 Academic Year curriculum is currently completing its annual national accreditation process.

Why it matters

Credibility isn’t optional.

Anyone can put a certificate icon on a web page. We built BrandWise to survive a second look — from a school administrator, an HR director, or a skeptical parent.
